She began her career some 25 years ago at the venerable Jerry’s restaurant in Rutherford she sharpened her skills working alongside TV Chef Carlo, at Campania in Fairlawn, One of his first successful restaurants. She went on to become sous chef and then executive chef at Rockland Country Club in Sparkill, New York, and Specialties Chef at Fairmont Country Club in Chatham, New Jersey. She also helped open and served as the first Vegan Chef at a Vegan Restaurant in Edgewater, New Jersey.
